The Inspector General’s Report; Let’s Not Jump to Any Quick Conclusions

It’s now Sunday and Graves has spent the past 3 days voraciously reading, taking notes and drawing a few conclusions.

And here is one of those conclusions in which every conservative reader should take an interest:

"Lot’s of folks are digging into the IG report, but again, it’s long and non-trivial.  But as I mentioned in the comments of my article introducing the report, “I am noting that it seems like the authors of the Executive Summary didn’t read the actual report…”  Anyone who claims that the IG’s report “proves that there was no bias” has read only the Executive Summary, and not the body of the report."

Members of the ‘Mainstream’ media were quick to claim that I.G. Horowitz discovered “no bias” on the part of James Comey and a number of his friends. That conclusion was apparently derived from the Executive Summary and as it meshed nicely with the CNN/MSNBC agenda, information in the report itself was ignored.

So stick around. No one absorbs 500 pages over a lazy weekend. Let’s wait for the real news to come out.
