Who “Wire Tapped” President Trump?
By Jim Emerson, staff writer
On Jan 20, 2017, Inauguration Day, the New York Times print edition featured on the front page “Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides." From the Article:
“The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.”
“Numerous news outlets, including The New York Times, have reported on the F.B.I. investigations into Mr. Trump’s advisers. BBC and then McClatchy revealed the existence of a multiagency working group to coordinate investigations across the government.” Americans will find out when FBI Director Comey meets with congress next week.
After the now famous Tweet from President Trump on 4 March, the Times changed the On-line headlines to “Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry into Trump Associates.” Now they have a dilemma: either admit the President was correct, change their story to protect their sources or admit it was fake news. As for investigation, so far the agencies are in full denial mode. The edits were made to appear that the Russian Embassy was the actual target.
Louise Mensch of Heatstreet reported that two counter-intelligence agents had confirmed that the FBI sought and was granted a FISA court warrant in October giving them permission to target Donald Trump and advisors’ ties to Russia. The FBI’s counter-intelligence arm was targeting Trump Tower to discover possible financial and banking offences. In other words, it was a fishing expedition.
Judge Andrew Napolitano has been reporting that the Obama administration bypassed American assets, NSA, CIA and the Department of Justice. The Barack Regime simply bypassed American agencies and their mandatory oversights and asked the British Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) for assistance. By using a foreign agency, Obama could read transcripts of conversations involving Mr. Trump before he was inaugurated President. Judge Napolitano received his information from three unnamed intelligence sources. However, the GCHQ has denied helping former President Obama to spy on President Trump.
So who is lying and who is telling the truth? Congress has claimed that it has no evidence from the agencies involved. Then again, they only know what their staffers tell them. And who could possibly believe that Barack Obama would lie!
America will have to wait and see the evidence President Trump mentioned in a Tucker Carlson Interview on Fox News.
